(CFL.ca wire) — Wyoming Cowboys defensive tackle Corey Mace became the first 2007 CFL Canadian Draft eligible player to sign with an NFL club after coming to terms with the Buffalo Bills.
Mace took part in the TransGlobe CFL Evaluation Camp in March after 51 tackles last season with the Cowboys.
Despite signing with the Bills, Mace is still eligible to be selected in Wednesday’s CFL Canadian Draft, beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
