By the Numbers: Remarkable running backs

CFL.ca Staff

TORONTO — Punishing opposing defences on a weekly basis has become routine for the Toronto Argonauts’ Cory Boyd. Voted amongst his peers as the CFL’s toughest player, Boyd has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues the only way he knows how-one yard at a time. Add elusiveness in the open field and the result has Boyd close to eclipsing single season records for most rushing yards by an Argo, as well as, most rushing yards by a first-year player. To honour this soldier from scrimmage, along with the other bruising backs with a knack for shedding would-be tacklers, CFL.ca presents Remarkable Running Backs, By the Numbers.
