EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos have signed import receiver Adarius Bowman to a contract. The speedy receiver out of Oklahoma State was released by Winnipeg last October.

Bowman joined the Blue Bombers via trade with Saskatchewan in April of 2009 and appeared in 27 games during his two seasons with the team. He had 50 receptions for 691 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games last year but was plagued by inconsistency and drops before being released.

Bowman also spent one season with the Riders and has accumulated 1,974 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns overall during his three seasons in the league.
