CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders re-signed import receiver Romby Bryant on Tuesday.
Bryant was scheduled to become a free agent on Feb. 16. As per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Bryant, who caught a career-high 77 passes for 1,167 yards and a league-leading 15 receiving touchdowns last season, was scheduled to become a free agent Wednesday.
“This organization has been great to me since I got here and I’m glad to be coming back to Calgary,” Bryant said in a release. “We have an excellent coaching staff, a good group of guys … and I’m looking forward to getting back out on the field and competing.”
Bryant has 189 receptions for 3,153 yards and 24 touchdowns over three CFL seasons.
