Ellis picked by Lions in Supplemental Draft

TORONTO — The B.C. Lions have acquired defensive lineman Alex Ellis in the CFL’s Supplemental Draft in exchange for the club’s sixth round pick in the 2012 Canadian Draft.

The 6’1″, 306 lbs. Ellis previous played for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks in 2007. He dressed in all eight regular season games and one plaoff game. He recorded 18.5 total tackles and one sack.
