The Kid from La Puente

‘The Kid from La Puente’ was the third documentary in the series, reliving the roots of possibly the league’s geatest CFL quarterback of all time from his days growing up in a rough Los Angeles suburb called La Puente. In this film, Calvillo and his family reveal a story that’s never before been told, showing us a whole different side of a future Hall of Fame quarterback and giving us an entirely different appreciation of number 13 and not just what he’s accomplished on the field, but his character off of it.
