The four players were chosen by a panel of judges that includes former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde, now of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.

Tiger-Cats quarterback Henry Burris earns his fourth Offensive Player of the Week award, following his career-night against the Toronto Argonauts at Rogers Centre on Thursday night.

Burris was a force through the air, throwing for a career-best 497 yards and four touchdowns, including a 93-yard strike to Chris Williams in the second quarter.

The 37-year-old finished first in passing yards with 5,367 yards.

The Defensive Player of the Week is Eskimos middle linebacker JC Sherritt.

Sherritt entered the record books on Friday night, registering 11 tackles to bring his total up to 130, breaking Calvin Tiggle’s single-season mark of 129 that was set in 1994.

This is the Esks’ Most Outstanding Player and Defensive Player nominee’s fourth Player of the Week nod.

Toronto Argonauts kicker Swayze Waters earns his Special Teams Player of the Week award, following his perfect outing in the Argos’ 43-40 win over the Ticats on Thursday.

Waters connected on all five of his field goals, including a game-winning 51-yard boot in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter.

Finaly, the Canadian Player of the Week is Blue Bombers linebacker Henoc Muamba.

The former St. Francis Xavier X-Men racked up a career-best 10 tackles and one sack in the Bombers’ Week 19 win over the Alouettes, bringing his season total up to 65.
