Logan among three to join Lions practice roster

VANCOUVER — The BC Lions announced that three players have joined their practice roster today, including running back/ kick returner Stefan Logan.

Logan spent one season with the Lions in 2008, registering 889 yards on the ground, while adding 477 yards and three touchdowns through the air.

He also made an impact on special teams, returning 12 punts for 126 yards, while also tacking on 266 more on nine kick returns.

After his inaugural season, Logan headed south to join the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers. He spent one season in Pittsburgh and was then signed by the Detroit Lions, with whom he spent three seasons. He was released by Detroit in 2012 and did not attend a NFL training camp in 2013.

The Lions also announced that DT Mykes Wade and OT Nyere Aumaitre have joined the practice roster as well.
