TORONTO — Montreal defensive back Antoine Pruneau will enter training camp as a member of the REDBLACKS after being selected 4th overall in the 1st round of the 2014 CFL Draft.
The 6-foot, 190-pound was the second-fastest prospect at this year’s CFL Combine (behind Adam Thibault), recording a 4.487. He also finished second in the shuttle (4.05) and first in the 3-Cone drill with a 6.78.
CFL.ca’s Justin Dunk compared Pruneau to Montreal Alouettes safety Mike Edem who was a first round pick in 2013.
He also sat 14th on the CFL Scouting Bureau Rankings which were released in April.
