TORONTO — One day after being released by the Alouettes, it appears as though Jamel Richardson has found a new home in the CFL.
According to Farhan Lalji of TSN, Richardson is expected to sign with the Toronto Argonauts.
Should Richardson indeed sign with the Argos, he’ll be reunited with Scott Milanovich, who served as his offensive coordinator for four seasons.
Prior to sustaining a season-ending torn ACL and LCL in 2013, Richardson registered five-straight 1,000-yard seasons. In his 10 campaigns, Richardson has reeled in 585 receptions for 8,069 receiving yards and 52 touchdowns.
Richardson is set to enter his 10th CFL season.
