OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS announced today the extensions of six players, including tailback Chevon Walker and backup quarterback Thomas DeMarco, as well as the release of veteran linebacker TJ Hill.

Walker, along with DL Jonathan Williams and OL J’Micheal Deane were handed two-year extensions, while DeMarco, DL Justin Capicciotti, and DL Zack Evans were handed one-year extensions.

In five games this season, Walker has racked up 298 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 57 carries, good enough for fourth in the league. He’s also tacked on 147 receiving yards and a score on 13 receptions.
