HAMILTON — Hamilton Tiger-Cats QB Dan LeFevour was forced out of Saturday afternoon’s matchup with the Calgary Stampeders in the fourth quarter and did not return.

LeFevour left with what looked like an injury to his left knee. Prior to exiting, LeFevour completed 21 of his 30 passes for 282 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

“I don’t have an official update (on LeFevour) so I don’t want to speculate,” Ticats head coach/GM Kent Austin told the Canadian Press after the game. “It doesn’t look good, but we’ll see.”

Austin continued, “The guys are frustrated. They play hard but we’ve got to play clean especially early in the game. We’re digging too big of holes right now that we’re trying to overcome. We’re not a good enough football team to overcome a deficit like that right now.”

He was replaced by Jeremiah Masoli, who was good on seven of his 10 attempts for 68 yards, no touchdowns and one pick.

More to come…
