NEW YORK CITY Whistle Sports Network (Whistle Sports) and the Canadian Football League (CFL) unveiled a new content and sales partnership today at Whistle Sports’ 2015 NewFront presentation in New York City.

The strategic partnership with the sports entertainment giant will put CFL stars and social content in front of Whistle Sports’ millions of subscribers on their various platforms including Youtube and Facebook. The partnership will also provide new multi-platform content integration opportunities for brands who want to engage with millennial audiences and the CFL brand.

“This unique partnership will highlight our league’s tremendous athletes, the passion of our fans and the excitement of our game in new ways,” said CFL Commissioner Jeffrey Orridge. “This is a bold and transformative move in our efforts to expand the reach of the CFL to new audiences across all major platforms.”

In addition, Whistle Sports and the CFL will work together to produce content in partnership with the Whistle talent roster which includes YouTube stars such as Brodie Smith and Dude Perfect.

An example of this creative content was released today, with a video of Hamilton Tiger-Cats wide receiver breaking the world record for most one-handed catches in one minute. Fantuz had footballs thrown to him by Calgary Stampeders’ Bo Levi Mitchell and Saskatchewan Roughriders’ Darian Durant – two of the CFL’s star quarterbacks.
