MONTREAL — The Alouettes appear to have their starting quarterback back in the huddle, as Didier Orméjuste of RDS reported Monday that Kevin Glenn is practising.
Glenn, 37, did not play in Week 4’s 31-7 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats due to inflammation in his eye.

Orméjuste also tweeted that linebacker Bear Woods is not practising and is wearing a brace on his right leg.
Glenn’s return to the lineup would be a welcome sight for an Alouette offence that’s become shorthanded of late. The Als leaned heavily on Rakeem Cato, Brandon Rutley and B.J. Cunningham during Week 4 action thanks to injuries to Glenn, S.J. Green, Kenny Stafford and Tyrell Sutton.
The Als currently rank seventh in the league with 337 yards per game, while Glenn has thrown for 591 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in two starts this season.
A native of Detroit, Glenn is in his 13th CFL season and second with the Alouettes after joining the team via trade from Saskatchewan late in 2015.
The Alouettes (1-2) have lost two straight games and will look to get back in the win column with a visit to BMO Field to take on the Toronto Argonauts on Monday.
