TORONTO — After a very emotional week in Calgary, Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi-Mitchell joined James Cybulski of ‘The Waggle’ Podcast to talk about the dominant season so far, his reputation and the tragic and unexpected loss of Mylan teammate Hicks.

“There’s not a perfect way to react to the situation, so, try and put our best foot forward,” Mitchell said of Hicks. “Try to focus on the now. Understand that terrible tragedies happen in life, but take what happened as motivation and use that as a way to lift him up.”

He and James also tangled with the topic of his perception around the league, making sure to clarify that there is a difference between arrogance and confidence.

“I’m confident man, I’m not cocky… I do believe that if you prepare the way that you should prepare, if you understand your opponent, if you’re confident about the way you look at an opponent and know that if you play your best game you can win I don’t understand or see why you wouldn’t be confident.”
