– Just two veterans, quarterbacks Zach Collaros and Jeremiah Masoli, are taking part in the Ticats mini-camp this week they are both bringing their leadership to the field (CFL.ca).

– The Ticats may be close to a deal with free agent Andy Fantuz after head coach Kent Austin told media after the first day of mini-camp this week that he thinks “we’ll have some pretty good news here soon” regarding the receiver (Drew Edwards, 3DownNation).

TORONTO ARGONAUTS

– When S.J. Green found out he was going to be leaving the Montreal Alouettes after 10 seasons and joining the Toronto Argonauts, the receiver was “beyond happy” (CFL.ca).

– Diontae Spencer may be heading to new city this season after signing with the Ottawa REDBLACKS but he’ll be meeting some familiar faces when he gets there (CFL.ca).

– The REDBLACKS will get their season underway this week when they hold their mini-camp at TD Place from April 27-29.
