MONTREAL -- Arland Bruce's days as a Montreal Alouette are over.

Wednesday night, the team officially announced that they have released the veteran receiver.

"The Alouettes would like to thank Arland for his hard work and contributions last season. Through the challenges we faced, he played multiple roles on game day and came to work every day with the determination to win. We wish Arland the best in his future endeavours," declared Alouettes General Manager Jim Popp.

Bruce joined the Alouettes prior to the 2013 season and posted 64 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns.  Over his 13-year CFL career, Bruce has caught 767 passes for 11,609 yards and 94 touchdowns.
