TORONTO -- The Toronto Argonauts added some non-import depth on Wednesday, signing former Tiger-Cats linebacker Jonathan Hood to a contract.
The team also signed import LB Darry Beckwith.
Hood, who attended Father Michael Goetz Secondary School while growing up in Mississauga, has spent the last three seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats playing on special teams and on defence as both a linebacker and defensive back.
While in Hamilton, he recorded 38 special teams tackles including a season-high 22 in 2011. This past year, Hood finished with six (6) special teams tackles in four (4) games with Hamilton.
