The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added import receiver Greg Carr to their practice roster today.

Carr (6-6, 214, Florida State, DOB: October 8, 1985 in Reddick, Florida) was a very dependable receiver during his four years at Florida State and led the team in receiving yards during his final two years.  Carr was the go-to receiver in the red-zone throughout his collegiate career and caught 12 touchdown passes during his sophomore season.  As a junior, Carr got 45 passes for 795 yards and four touchdowns and followed that up with 39 catches for 542 yards and four touchdowns in his senior season.  In total, Carr caught 148 passes for 2,574 yards and 29 touchdowns.  He was named a second team All-ACC in 2006 and was a third team freshman All-American in 2005.  Carr went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft but was signed by the San Diego Chargers shortly after.  He was waived after not appearing in any preseason games.
