WINNIPEG -- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added size to their offensive line, drafting SFU lineman Matthias Goossen second overall in the 2014 CFL Draft.  He the ninth ranked prospect in April's final CFL Scouting Bureau.

During his four year career with Simon Fraser, Goossen was named a GNAC First Team All-Conference selection three times during his collegiate career.

The 6-4, 294 lbs lineman showed off his versatility by playing every position on the offensive line during his career.

The Richmond, BC native was also named a BSN Pre-Season All-American prior to the 2012 season.

“He brings versatility having played every position along the offensive line during his time at Simon Fraser,” said CIS Insider Justin Dunk.
Goossen pumped out an impressive 29 reps in the bench press at the 2014 CFL Combine in March, the fifth best total among all prospects.
