Bratton elects to remain an Alouette

MONTREAL -- Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp is pleased to announce that receiver/kick returner Brian Bratton has signed a two-year contract plus an option year with the team.

As a CFL sophomore in 2008, Bratton (5’10”, 185 lbs) finished fourth on the Alouettes with 636 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He also returned 14 kickoffs for 261 yards and four punts for 46 yards. He is 26.

‘’Brian has quickly become a dependable receiver and our ‘X-factor’ on offence,‘’ Jim Popp said. ‘’He is a young rising star and we’re very happy he has decided to continue his career with us.”
