MONTREAL -- After debuting in Quebec City in 2013, the CFL Regional Combine circuit will make it's first appearance in Montreal, as 44 players will showcase their skills on Wednesday in hopes of earning an invitation to the National Combine, beginning on Friday in Toronto.
2014 CFL Combine week kicked off Monday in Edmonton, with Tore Corrado, Michael Dadzie, Thomas Miles, Kyle Paterson and Dylan Roper all being handed invites to the showcase event.
The regional tour will conclude on Thursday with the Toronto Regional Combine.
The one-day invitational combines are for players eligible for the 2014 CFL Draft. The top players from each combine could receive an invite to attend the national CFL Combine in Toronto from March 21 to March 23.
The regional combines may also include non-import free agents and import free agents who play in the CIS. These players are not eligible for the draft and therefore cannot receive an invitation to the national CFL Combine. Each regional combine will invite approximately 30 to 40 football players.
