MONTREAL -- The Montreal Alouettes announced a trio of contract extensions on Wednesday with veterans Chip Cox, S.J. Green and Éric Deslauriers each agreeing to new two-year deals with the club.
Since signing with the Alouettes in 2006, Cox has been the team's defensive tackles leader and a CFL All-Star each season from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, the 29-year-old led the Alouettes with four interceptions, while his 82 defensive tackles, a personal best, were good for second on the team, behind only fellow linebacker Shea Emry.
