The four players were chosen by a panel of judges that includes former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde, now of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.

The Offensive Player of Week 17 is Montreal Alouettes slotback Jamel Richardson.

Richardson continued his late-season surge, registering a season-high 161 receiving yards on eight receptions, leading the Als to a 34-28 road win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The 30-year-old receiver compiled 122 yards in the first half alone, marking the second-straight game - and second time this season - that he surpassed the century mark in receiving yards.

Calgary Stampeders defensive back Keon Raymond is the Defensive Player of the Week, following his standout performance in Calgary's 34-32 win over the visiting Tiger-Cats.

Against the backdrop of a swirling blizzard, Raymond was a force for the Stamps, racking up eight tackles, two sacks and one interception that he returned 100 yards to the house in the second quarter.

His efforts helped secure the Stampeders home-field advantage in the Western Semi-Final on Nov. 11.

Roughriders slotback/kick returner Weston Dressler earns his first Special Teams Player of the Week award for the 2012 season.

Dressler ran for 76 yards and one touchdown on two punt returns in the Riders' 34-28 loss to the Als at Mosaic Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old also pitched in on the offensive side of the ball, hauling in four passes for 28 yards and a touchdown.

For the seventh time this season, Calgary Stampeders running back Jon Cornish has been named the Canadian Player of the Week.

The New Westminster, BC native hauled in a season-high 108 yards and a touchdown in Calgary's Week 17 win, and also ran for 27 yards on 13 carries.

I can understand Raymond, but Jon Cornish whose running game was virtually non-existent against a "terrible" Ticats D? Others are well-deserved.

Only the third Rider to win POTW this season. The Bombers have had more. What a joke Dunigan, Forde and Vercheval.
