EDMONTON -- Edmonton Eskimos general manager Eric Tillman announced today that the club has signed wide receiver Dobson Collins.

Collins appeared in six games for the BC Lions this season, posting 14 receptions for 217 yards. He was released Aug. 8, 2011. A product of Gardner-Webb University, Collins caught 143 passes for 1,754 yds and 14 TDs in 42 career games during his collegiate career.

Tillman also announced the signing of and offensive lineman Devin Tyler.

Tyler attended Saskatchewan Roughrider training camp and was released prior to the start of the 2011 season. The former Temple University standout has also spent time with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals.
