CALGARY -- Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel announced today the re-signing of non-import safety Eric Fraser.
Fraser, who had been eligible to become a free agent on Feb. 15, was Calgary’s first-round selection (eighth overall) in the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft and he joined the Stampeders in 2010. He has played 53 regular-seasongames and five playoff contests in three seasons with the Red and White.
“I’m pleased that Eric has chosen to remain with the Stampeders,” said Hufnagel. “He has continued to grow as a player during his three years here and believe that the best is yet to come.”
