MONTREAL -- Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp is pleased to announce that cornerback Mark Estelle has signed a two-year contract plus an option year with the team.
Estelle (5’9”, 182 lbs) becomes one of the Alouettes’ last key players to confirm his return. He was excellent in 2008, playing in 14 games, collecting 54 tackles and a forced fumble, as well as a 41-yard interception return. He also had three knockdowns and was named an East Division All-Star.
He is 27.
