I, for one, am a Rob Murphy fan. He played the game hard. There are officials on the field. If he breaks the rules, they can penalize him. I wish every player exhibited his passion. I was sorry to see him leave the Lions and I am sorry to see him leave the league.

explain this to me tens of OL have retired prior to the dirty and cheating murphy(exactly like most ohio state grads)BUT no royale send off like CFL.CA is giving him like the above picture album(bum at the end is right)!!

This only leads me to believe that the CFL promotes this kind of player. Love or hate them they bring another side to the game to watch other than the game itself.
I remember when there were tons of articles bringing up Murphy and Jason Jimenez as the dirtiest players for B.C. at one point. Teamed up with Belli in Toronto the rumour mill continued.
Still as he's saying he had respect for other players at the end of the day. Now that he's retired that spot light will be on someone else.
