CALGARY -- The Calgary Stampeders re-signed import receiver Romby Bryant on Tuesday.

Bryant was scheduled to become a free agent on Feb. 16. As per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
 
Bryant, who caught a career-high 77 passes for 1,167 yards and a league-leading 15 receiving touchdowns last season, was scheduled to become a free agent Wednesday.

"This organization has been great to me since I got here and I'm glad to be coming back to Calgary," Bryant said in a release. "We have an excellent coaching staff, a good group of guys ... and I'm looking forward to getting back out on the field and competing."

Bryant has 189 receptions for 3,153 yards and 24 touchdowns over three CFL seasons.
