The Calgary Stampeders announced Wednesday that import receiver/kick returner Jason Armstead has signed with the team.
 
Armstead is entering his ninth CFL season and has recorded 13,812 combined yards and 24 touchdowns in 106 games played with Ottawa, Saskatchewan, Hamilton, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton.
 

The Moss Point, Miss., native originally signed with Ottawa in 2003 and spent two seasonswith the Renegades. He joined Saskatchewan in 2006 after being selected in the Ottawa dispersal draft. On Aug. 19, 2007, he was traded by the Roughriders to Hamilton in exchange for running back Corey Holmes and receiver Chris Getzlaf. He split the 2008 season between Montreal and Winnipeg before returning to Saskatchewan in 2009. He spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons with Edmonton. Armstead signed with the National Football League’s Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2003.
 
Armstead’s career highs came in 2005 when he recorded 89 receptions and 1,307 yards. He also accumulated 3,353 total yards in 2005 including 1,307 on receptions, 44 on rushes, 1,082 on kickoff returns, 699 on punt returns and 221 on missed-field goal returns.

All Armstead has left is to add Toronto and B.C. to his resume`, and he has the complete C.F.L. covered.

Now to see if he has any fuel left in the tank.
