Argonauts Release Zach Collaros

TORONTO -- After being released by the Toronto Argonauts on Wednesday, allowing him to get an early start on free agency, the Zach Collaros sweepstakes are officially on.

But now that he's free to roam the free agent waters, where will he end up?

Having proven himself in extended action last season as Ricky Ray's injury replacement, Collaros' services as a reliable, young and athletic pivot will certainly attrack several interested prospects.

Today's debate: Where will Zach Collaros play in 2014 and beyond?

reported in the spec today, burris and austin aren't talking and the frustration is building. as I said earlier in this forum, one thing austin hates is a veteran qb that makes rookie mistakes, as burris did all season long. who knows, burris to winnipeg and zach to hamilton, stranger things have happened. oshea could be the tipping point though...stay tuned!

What "Great Debate"? There is only one team in the CFL that is in dire need of a starting-calibre QB. I hope Collaros doesn't mind the mozzies in the 'Peg, especially down by the (Red) river.

There may be a need but there is NO guarantee. For the Bombers' sake, I'd like to see him given a chance but they have to get a QBs coach.

Seems to me that the teams that do well (Calgary, SSK, TO e.g.) HAVE a QBs coach! Can't imagine that it makes ANY difference though! LOL! Bomber QBs have NOT had good coaching in the past few years partly because that is one position they have not filled on their coaching staff.
