The Great Debate: Wildest CFL Finishes | | Official Site of the Canadian Football League

TORONTO -- Over the years, we've seen our fair share of wild finishes.

From the joy and ecstasy of Milt Stegall's last-second touchdown catch against Edmonton in 2006, to the deflating disappointment of the infamous 13th Man in the 97th Grey Cup, our league has no shortage of seat-rising finishes.

But which one is your favourite? Which one do you think is the wildest of them all?

Does the Alouettes-Argonauts "kick game" top your list? How about the double-overtime thriller between Saskatchewan and Montreal in 2010?

Where does the shootout thriller 93rd Grey Cup between the Als and Esks rank in your mind? How can we possibly leave Jason Clermont's heroics in the 2005 Western Semi-Final off our list?

We've listed those below, but feel free to add your favourite wild finish in the comment section.

Today's Debate: What is the wildest finish in recent CFL history?

The 13th Man

Alouettes vs. Argos Kickout Finale

Clermont's Heroics

Stegall's Miracle TD vs. Edmonton

Als vs. Riders 2010 Double-OT Thriller

I have to go with the game i was lucky enough to see last august.
my gal and i were planning a vacation but she got pregnant with what will any day be our first child!
so last august she told me to go do something that i would love to do that she wouldn't care about.
so i went to 3 CFL games in 3 days! flew from vancouver to MTL, saw them host the Lions. next day took the train to toronto and watched calgary take out ricky ray. then off to edmonton the next day to see the riders hold off edmonton by just a couple points at the end of the game.
but that Als-Lions tilt was mind-blowing!!! it rained like crazy about 3 times during the game. the Als changed their QB early on, were trailing the whole game, Tanner Marsh threw about 5 interceptions, including 3 in the final 5 minutes!! yet his long hail mary to Deslauriers set up a winning field goal with 9 seconds on the clock to win the game. totally unreal, the craziest game and wildest comeback in my books.
i bought a dvd of the game online recently so i have this one for posterity!

I don't know if it was the wildest finish ever but the 2010 Rider - Alouette game was the best season opener ever by a long shot.

Obviously a painful memory for this Riders shareholder, but the 13th man is the all-time wildest finish. Not too mention most irony-filled!
