Forcier is the real deal. he was voted the best double threat QB in California HS. Starting as a true freshman at Michigan says something. academic problems put him at #2 in 2010 soph yr. along wit a new coach. Transfering to San Jose State in 2011. He is a pro QB for sure as he used the NCAA as most do to play football. With Burris and porter in front of him there will be no immediate need to play, so he will have the time to develop. Boltus stuck around as 3rd QB last year, as glenn and porter would garner the playing time, do to his ability to be the holder an important but often overlooked special teams position. With the ability to be holder could land him another #3 gig on a team with two strong QBs in front of him.
Forcier has been on the CFL radar since his academic problems began. comes into the CFL along the lines of Jerimiah Masoli in Edmonton with Masoli being more ready to play now.
To good for the ti cats to pass up as a QB of the future as Boltus simply does not have the talent of Forcier.

Seeing the strong and accurate arm of Jason during practice and through a couple of years of exhibition games always made me feel he'd end up with a successful career somewhere in football. I remember another Pocket Quarterback with a rocket for an arm in Hamilton, and Cavillo ended up having a pretty good career.

Forcier comes highly recommended, Crable and Puffer were signed to take place in last month's mini-camp and obviously didn't impress enough, same would appear to be the case with players Boltus, Brown and Jones. Probably won't get to see much of Forcier or Harris outside of pre-season, if indeed they stick.

ar- Didn't mean to suggest that they would be playing QB any time soon - both obviously have a steep learning curve - but I believe Boltus was the holder. More wondering if they will actually make the team, They are both apparently mobile QBs like Burris and Porter, making offense planning a little less complicated since Glenn didn't tend to be too mobile unless he had to be!
