TORONTO -- They won't meet for another 10 weeks, but the excitement is building for the first Alouettes/Roughriders matchup of the 2014 season.

And true to form, Chad Johnson is smack-dab in the middle of it all.

While fielding questions from fans on his massively-popular Twitter account yesterday, Johnson singled out Roughriders safety Tyron Brackenridge as someone who he's excited to go up against at some point during the upcoming campaign.

The ensuing reply from Brackenridge, and the resulting conversation between the two stars had the CFL Twitter community, especially those from Rider Nation, pumped for the Week 8 clash.

The two eventually settled their differences, with Johnson encouraging all 3.6 million of his followers to follow Brackenridge.
