About the Bench Press
The Bench Press is the marquee Saturday event at Combine. It is a test of both an athlete’s strength and muscular endurance. The player will press a weighted bar of 225 pounds for as many repetitions as they can. Anything higher than 25 repetitions is considered to be a very good score from the strength position players.
