2007: Had a big year for BC in 2007, bouncing back from an injury-plagued 2006… Led the Lions with 86 receptions and recorded his third career 1,000-yard season with 1,158 – good for second on the team and third in the CFL... Jason was named to the West Division and CFL All-Star teams after playing all 18 games and scoring 7 TDs. Hooked up with Jarious Jackson for a career-high 93-yard completion on Oct 13/07 at Edmonton… Had three 100-yard receiving efforts on the season and earned Outstanding Canadian honours for the second time in his career.

2006: An inspirational leader for the Lions in 2006, Clermont battled through what would have been a season-ending injury for many after tearing his MCL in Week 1 versus Saskatchewan... Returning to the field after missing only seven games, he finished the year with 44 receptions for 507 yards (4th) and three TD’s… Jason also contributed a playoff career-high nine catches for 98 yards in the 2006 West Championship.

2005: Appeared in all 18 games while recorded a second consecutive 1,000-yard season with 1,042 yards on 78 catches, becoming only the sixth Lion to accomplish that feat… Ranked 12th in the CFL in receptions and 16th in yards.

2004: Was named the Most Valuable Canadian in the Grey Cup when he grabbed 4 passes for 71 yards and a TD… Named to the 2004 West All-Star Team and received the CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian Award 2002… Recognized as the Outstanding Rookie in the West.

Career Highlights 2002-07: Currently ranks 7th in yards with 5,277 on BC’s all-time receivers list while recording 34 TDs… Also ranks 7th in all-time receptions with 378 in just six seasons following his career-high mark of 86 in 2007… Played a full season of 18 games after missing seven contests in 2006… Has played in the playoffs in each of his six CFL seasons and has averaged 63 catches and 880 yards per year...Now has 10 career 100-yard receiving games after three more in 2007... Jason will appear in his 100 career game in 2008.

College Career: In his senior year at the University of Regina, Clermont tallied 41 receptions for 807 yards and 14 touchdowns, earning him a position on the CIS All-Canadian Team, a Canada West All-Star honour, a Canada West Most Outstanding Player Award, and an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game in San Francisco to compete against top NCAA graduating players (an honour bestowed upon only two CIS players annually)… His performance caught the attention of the BC Lions who drafted him 4th overall.

Personal: Jason has played football since the age of eight and is also an avid golfer… He spends the off-season in his native Regina with his wife Renae and 13-year-old stepdaughter Tanessa, and is a real estate agent in the Regina area... Jason was a Business Administration and Marketing major in college and also plays hockey and basketball… Jason was inducted into the Regina Rams Hall of Fame in 2007.
