George Dixon was the Montreal Alouettes leading scorer from 1960-64. He won the Schenley Award as the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player in 1962. Dixon was a two-time CFL All-Star (1962, 1963) and had his #28 retired by the Alouettes. Dixon scored 59 touchdowns during his career, including a CFL record 109-yard touchdown against the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1963. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1974.
