Norm Fieldgate

Norm Fieldgate was one of only two original BC Lions from the 1954 team to sip from the Grey Cup in 1964. Fieldgate is considered one of the best Canadian corner linebackers to have played the game. He dressed for 223 games and in addition to corner linebacker he lined up at offensive end, defensive end and defensive back. Fieldgate was a three-time Divisional All-Star (1959, 1960, 1963) and was named a CFL All-Star in 1963. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1979.
