Willie Fleming was known for his elusive running style and was subsequently named a three-time winner of the BC Lions’ most popular player award. He scored 86 touchdowns during his career, including a CFL record 109-yard touchdown against the Edmonton Eskimos in 1964. Fleming was a three-time Divisional All-Star (1960, 1961, 1963) and was named a CFL All-Star in 1963. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1982.
