The house cleaning continues for the B.C. Lions with the team announcing Monday it has released veteran CFL defensive lineman Tyrone Williams.

Williams, 36, joined the Lions as a free agent in 2002. The six-foot-six, 288-pound Philadelphia native played 120 games for B.C., recording 343 tackles and 27 sacks. He was a CFL all-star in 2006 and 2007.

Williams is the latest veteran the Lions have parted company with.

Earlier this month, the team released slotback Jason Clermont and linebacker Otis Floyd and did not pick up the option year on the contract of running back Charles Roberts.

The Lions did announce the signing non-important running back Andrew Harris, who led the Vancouver Islander Raiders to the Canadian Bowl championship.

B.C. finished the regular season third in the West with a 11-7-0 record. They lost the West Final to Calgary.
