Riders add depth to O-line; sign Hudson

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed non-import offensive lineman George Hudson and import cornerback John Eubanks to deals Thursday.

Hudson, of St. Catharines, Ont., spent the past five seasons with Hamilton. The six-foot-four, 310-pounder started at centre in 17 regular-season games and the East Division semifinal with the Tiger-Cats last year.

Hudson, 34, was drafted 17th overall by the Edmonton Eskimos in the 2000 Canadian College Draft. He joined the Ottawa Renegades for four seasons in 2002.

Eubanks, 27, signed with Winnipeg in 2009 before being released. The five-foot-10, 173-pounder then joined Calgary for 11 games where he had 36 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery.
