HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have finalized their coaching staff with the addition of John Zamberlin as linebackers coach.

Zamberlin served as defensive tackles coach at Weber State in 2011 after 14 years as a head coach at Idaho State and Central Washington.

Zamberlin spent six seasons in the late ’70s and early ’80s as linebacker with the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs.

He becomes the ninth full-time member of the Ticats 2012 coaching staff.

Head coach George Cortez says his staff combines youth and experience.

In addition to Cortez and Zamberlin, the Ticats coaching staff also includes defensive co-ordinator Casey Creehan, special teams co-ordinator Jim Daley, receivers coach Jeremaine Copeland, offensive line coach Doug Malone, quarterbacks coach Doug Sams, running backs coach Ryan Sheahan and defensive backs coach Nelson Martin.
