HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats released six players Friday including veteran defensive back Geoff Tisdale, lineman Eddie Steele, linebacker Ike Brown, defensive back Carlos Thomas, linebacker Byron Bullock and running back Terry Grant.
Tisdale has spent five of his six CFL seasons with the Ticats, racking up 198 tackles and 17 interceptions. His best campaign came in 2010 when he recorded 58 defensive tackles and four picks. Steele was a draft pick of the Tiger-Cats, playing two seasons in Black and Gold and generating 32 tackles and one quarterback sack. His 2012 season was cut short after suffering a leg injury.
