EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the signing of free agent non-import defensive back Chris Rwabukamba.

Rwabukamba joins the Eskimos after originally being selected by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the fourth round (27th overall) of the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft. During two seasons with the Ti-Cats, he registered 23 defensive tackles and nine special teams tackles. Before entering the league, the product of Duke University registered 123 tackles and two interceptions in 45 games.

Rwabukamba is the fourth free agent to sign with the green and gold since free agency opened last Friday. He joins all-star import defensive end Odell Willis, import defensive back Marcell Young and non-import offensive lineman Alexander Krausnick.
