VANCOUVER — Travis Lulay will need more time to recover from his off-season shoulder surgery.

Friday, Lions head coach Mike Benevides announced to the media that Lulay will be placed on the six-game injured list. The news comes just one day before the Lions will take the field for their season opener against the Edmonton Eskimos.

Kevin Glenn, who was acquired in an off-season trade, will start for the Lions.

Lulay didn’t particiapte in any pre-season action, and he was very limited in his throwing throughout training camp.
