TORONTO — Middle linebacker Shea Emry resumed practising with the Toronto Argonauts on Wednesday.

Emry missed the earlier sessions this week following concussion protocol. Emry was injured in Toronto’s 48-15 home win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday.

The six-foot, 228-pound Emry was a full participant Wednesday, which improves his chances of playing Saturday night when the Argos host the Calgary Stampeders at Rogers Centre.

However the same can’t be said for Calgary running back Jon Cornish.

The CFL’s outstanding player and Canadian last season didn’t practise Wednesday as he recovers from a concussion suffered in Calgary’s season-opening 29-8 over Montreal on June 28.

When asked Wednesday what the chances were of Cornish playing Saturday, Stampeders head coach and GM John Hufnagel said, ”slim and none,“ according to the CFL team’s twitter account.
