EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces 20-year-old Connor Croken of Edmonton has claimed the record $348,534 take-home jackpot from last night’s 50/50 draw when the Edmonton Eskimos hosted the Calgary Stampeders. The jackpot includes $71,732 in unclaimed winnings carried over from the July 11 game.

Additional proceeds raised through the draw will be given to the Edmonton Huskies, Edmonton Wildcats, University of Alberta Golden Bears, Football Alberta and the Eskimo Alumni Association to support the growth and sustainability of amateur football in Northern Alberta. The Edmonton Eskimos do not take a profit from the 50/50 program.

The winnings are the largest in team history. Prior to last night, the largest single-game 50/50 jackpot was $127, 875 raised on Aug. 24, 2013 when the Edmonton Eskimos hosted the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Last season, 10 lucky winners walked away with a grand total of $678,353.
