Move over, Odell Beckham Jr., Iowa Hawkeye’s senior receiver Tevaun Smith eclipses the one handed catch record.
Odell Beckham Jr.had the football world buzzing after, ‘The Catch’ in Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys and to top it all off, on Sunday Night Football.
During Super Bowl week, Odell Beckham Jr. caught 33 one-handed catches in 60 seconds from Drew Brees, on a tv set and on Live television (No Pressure).
All he had to do was catch 14 to own the record, but why stop there?
After seeing this, Tevaun Smith a senior wide receiver from University of Iowa took the challenge. The native of Toronto, Ontario, not only caught more footballs in 60 seconds, he smashed Odell Beckham Jr’s record by snagging 41. This is not a typo!
Need to see it to believe it? Take a look below.
