Willy has started all seven games for the Bombers this season and is putting up a career year. He owns a 106.6 quarterback rating, second among active starters while throwing eight touchdowns to just three interceptions.

Brian Brohm is expected to start the Bombers’ next game, a home date with the Argos on Friday night at Investors Group Field. This season the 29-year-old has completed 27-of-51 passes for 235 yards in a relief role, compiling a quarterback rating of 32.7.

Bombers still awaiting news on Cotton, Adams

The Bombers are still awaiting the status of Paris Cotton and Darvin Adams, although the Winnipeg Sun‘s Paul Friesen reports that Cotton’s injury is long-term:

Both were injured along with Willy in Sunday’s loss. Cameron Marshall is expected to take on a larger role in the Bombers’ offensive backfield, while Adams was one of the team’s hottest receivers of late, especially in the absence of injured Nick Moore.

The Bombers will provide an update on Tuesday at 3:30pm ET.
