WINNIPEG — A week after bolstering both sides of the ball through free agency, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers made a pair of cuts Thursday afternoon, releasing running back Paris Cotton and defensive lineman Greg Peach.
A product of Central Michigan, Cotton was the Bombers starting tailback last season, but had injury issues keeping him out of the lineup.
The acquisition of Andrew Harris on the offensive side of the ball and Euclid Cummings and Keith Shologan along the defensive front, likely played a part in Peach and Cotton’s departure.
